Offering an photograph showing an early fire truck captioned on back as a 1926 Ahrens Fox Pumper. This appears to be an older photograph but much more recent than the truck. Great image!
I have been advised that the truck shown was once owned by the Avon New York Fire Department from 1926 to 1959. This picture was taken at the Craven Foundation in Toronto prior to the truck's restoration before it was sold to the Canadian Automotive history museum in Oshawa Ontario. This picture was taken between 1978 and 1986
Sold as-found and I do not have any additional information on the age or history of this photo
Measures approximately 8" by 10"
Condition: This photo is in good condition overall with some light wear. Library stamp and pencil / pen notations on the back.
