This auction is for an original vintage book / brochure titled The Spirit of Canada. Includes a separate Itinerary sheet for the 1939 visit across Canada of King George VI and Queen Elizabeth. This beautiful book highlights each Canadian province and territory with wonderful illustrations. Many famous figures contributed including P.E.I. by Lucy Maude Montgomery, New Brunswick by Charles G. D. Roberts, Ottawa by Duncan Campbell Scott, and British Columbia by Nellie McClung. Published by the Canadian Pacific Railway. Wonderful piece of history!

This book has 61 pages and measures approximately 10 3/4" by 13 1/4"

Condition: A correction sheet to the welcome message to the King and Queen was pasted in in period but has come loose. The original version can be seen printed underneath. There are small bends / wear to some corners, some light damage around edges and some light surface staining. Overall, a very nice piece.
