Offering a vintage press photograph showing a woman in 1920s-1930s period French fashion. Underwood and Underwood press stamp on the back with French language caption label. Undated but circa 1920s or early 1930s era. Great image!
I have been advised the following details:
This Paris racetrack (Longchamp track) fashion photo shows a 1932 to 1935 fashion ensemble by the Paris fashion house Philippe Et Gaston (that's what's written at the top of the back, but it's not evident that it's a designer name).The name of the photographer is G.L. Manuel Frères (this last word means "brothers" or "bros.").
Sold as-found and I do not have any additional information on the age or history of this photo
Measures approximately 4 3/4" by 7"
Condition: This photo is in good condition overall with some light surface and corner wear. Caption label glued to the back is lifting and has some creasing / bends / folds. Pencil notations on the back. Overall, still a very nice vintage photograph.
