Offering a vintage Italian press photograph showing racing legend Juan Manuel Fangio. Italian caption translates approximately to read: For a long time Fangio boasted of being a good cook, but no one believed him. So he invited all his friends to eat the asado prepared by him. In the garden of the Sport Car Club of Milan, where the Centro Sud racing team is based, the Dei brothers prepared for Fangio 300 kilos of charcoal, 70 kilos of lean beef, and 350 sausages.
Present to enjoy the asado prepared by Fangio were all the racing drivers, cinema and theater celebrities, and everyone had to agree that Fangio was also a good cook.
In the photo: Fangio with a chop in hand, behind him is Villoresi. Asado is the typical Argentine roast cooked over coals.
