Offering a vintage press photograph showing Mrs Boardman, the mother of Hugh Herndon. Hugh Herndon and Clyde Pangborn were the first pilots to make a non-stop flight over the Pacific from Japan to the United States. Underwood and Underwood press photograph. Undated but likely circa 1931 when the record was set. Great image!

Measures approximately 6 1/2" by 8 1/2" excluding caption.

Condition: This photo is in good condition overall with some light corner and surface wear. Caption sheet has some wrinkling and a rough lower edge. Pencil notations on the back. Overall, still a very nice vintage photograph.
