Offering a vintage press photograph showing George Eyston breaking the land speed record at Brooklands. Eyston beat the previous diesel speed record of 100.75 mph and his car is said to use a London Bus engine. Photo shows Eyston at speed during his run. Underwood and Underwood press stamp and dated 1933. Incredible image!

Measures approximately 8" by 10"

Condition: This photo has surface staining throughout, most noticeably on the edges and corners. There is some additional corner and surface wear. Pencil notation on the back. Caption sheet has some wrinkling. Overall, still a very nice vintage photograph.
