Offering a vintage press photograph showing a portrait of Admiral Colby Mitchell Chester. I believe Admiral Chester is the only Naval Officer to actively serve in the Civil War, Spanish American War and World War One. Underwood and Underwood press photograph with 1924 date stamp on the back. Great image!

Measures approximately 6 1/2" by 8 1/2"

Condition: This photo has appears to be missing a caption sheet and has some paper loss on the back. There is some surface staining and other wear throughout including a pin hole on the upper left corner and some wrinkling / discoloration. Numerous pen / pencil notations and stamps on the back from press and archive use. Overall, still a very nice vintage photograph.
