Offering a vintage press photograph captioned as showing telephone switchboard operators using a new telephone system in the US congress. Underwood and Underwood press photograph dated 1933. Great image!

Sold as-found and I do not have any additional information on the age or history of this photo. Identifications of subjects are to the best of my ability but are not certain - please view images carefully before purchase. 

Measures approximately 6 1/2" by 8 1/2" excluding caption sheet. 

Condition: This photo has paper loss / tearing where the caption sheet has become stuck to the photo and previously separated. Some caption sheet text is lost but most is readable. Some additional surface staining, corner wear and other wear. Pencil notations on the back. Overall, still a very nice vintage photograph.
