Offering a vintage press photograph showing Mrs Ruth Bryan Owen. Caption describes how Mrs. Owen was expected to make history and be appointed by President Roosevelt as the first American female diplomat. She would be named Minister to Denmark. Underwood and Underwood press photograph dated 1933. Great image!

Measures approximately 7" by 10" excluding caption sheet.
Condition: This photo has brown toning / discoloration throughout and some additional corner and surface wear. Caption label has some corner wear and light wrinkling, as well as a bend on the back where it attaches to the photo. Pencil notations and some staining on the back. Overall, still a very nice vintage photograph.
