Offering a vintage press photograph showing Mrs Ruth Bryan Owen taking oath to become the first American female diplomat. Mrs Owen was sworn in as American Minister to Denmark. Underwood and Underwood press photograph dated 1933. Great image!

Measures approximately 6 1/2" by 8 1/2" excluding caption sheet.

Condition: This photo has a bend on the upper right corner, some paper loss on the lower right edge, some light surface staining and other corner / surface wear. Caption sheet has some wrinkling and wear. Pencil notation on the back. Overall, still a very nice vintage photograph.
