Offering a vintage press photograph showing Dr David White, a distinguished scientist of the Geological Survey. Dr. White was awarded the Doolittle Walcot medal by the National Academy of Science for his studies of algal life in pre-Cambrian rocks. Underwood and Underwood press photograph dated 1934. Great image!

Measures approximately 7" by 10" excluding caption sheet

Condition: This photo has bends on the upper left and right corners and some wrinkling / staining along the right edge. Photo has some brown toning. Caption sheet glued to the bottom has some wrinkling and wear. Pencil notations on the back. Overall, still a very nice vintage photograph.
