Offering a vintage press photograph showing a portrait of James E Davidson. Caption describes how Davidson was a possible successor to Mr Denby as Secretary of the Navy. United Newspictures press photograph. Undated but circa 1920s or early 1930s era. Great image!
Sold as-found and I do not have any additional information on the age or history of this photos
Measures approximately 5" by 7" excluding caption sheet.
Condition: This photo appears to have a horizontal crease on the center but this appears to be printed on the photo - this is likely a period copy of the damaged image (not a modern reproduction!). Some additional corner and surface wear. Pencil notations on the back. Overall, still a very nice vintage photograph.
