Offering a vintage press photograph showing Thomas Mooney at San Quentin prison. Thomas Mooney was convicted of the 1916 San Francisco Preparedness Day bombing but it was later found that testimony and evidence was falsified at trial. He became a famous political prisoner with many efforts to secure his release. Caption describes that Mayor Walker will be visiting Mooney in preparation for his plea for a pardon. Underwood and Underwood press photograph. Undated but circa 1920s or early 1930s era. Great image!

Condition: This photo has some light corner and surface wear throughout including some light surface staining on the back. Overall a very nice vintage photograph.
