Offering a vintage press photograph showing Thomas Mooney, Mayor Walker and others outside of San Quentin prison. Thomas Mooney was convicted of the 1916 San Francisco Preparedness Day bombing but it was later found that testimony and evidence was falsified at trial. He became a famous political prisoner with many efforts to secure his release. Mayor Walker is shown visiting Mooney in preparation for his plea for a pardon. Underwood and Underwood press photograph. Undated but circa 1920s or early 1930s era. Great image!

Condition: This photo has some light surface staining on both sides (most noticeable on back), as well as some corner and other surface wear. Overall a very nice vintage photograph.
