Offering a vintage press photograph showing Rena Mooney, wife of Thomas Mooney, at the State Building in San Francisco. Thomas Mooney was convicted of the 1916 San Francisco Preparedness Day bombing but it was later found that testimony and evidence was falsified at trial. He became a famous political prisoner with many efforts to secure his release. Mooney is seen attending a pardon hearing with the support of Mayor James J Walker. Underwood and Underwood press photograph. Undated but circa 1920s or early 1930s era. Great image!

Condition: This photo has some light surface and corner wear including some wrinkling on the caption sheet. Pencil notations on the back. Overall a very nice vintage photograph.
