Offering a vintage press photograph showing Mrs William A Moffett, wife of Rear Admiral William A Moffett, Chief of the Bureau of Aeronautics of the Navy. Caption describes how Mrs Moffett was selected to Christen the Navy's new Super Dirigible the U.S.S. Macon - Sister ship to the Akron at hte Goodyear Zeppelin plant. Underwood and Underwood press photograph dated 1933. Great image!

Measures approximately 8" by 10 excluding caption sheet"

Condition: This photo has surface discoloration and brown toning throughout. There is some scuffing on the lower edge and an area of paper loss on the lower right edge. Additional corner and surface wear throughout including small corner bends and edge creases. Caption sheet has some tears / creases where attached to the photo on the back. Pencil notations on the back. Overall, still a very nice vintage photograph.
