Caption describes how Ash was retiring at age 70 after serving under 12 Presidents and 47 Postmaster Generals. Underwood and Underwood press photograph dated 1932. Great image!

Condition: This photo has uneven borders per original printing / cut and some other light wear. Caption sheet has some creasing near the fold and a bend on the lower right corner. Pencil notations on the back. Overall, still a very nice vintage press photograph.
