Offering a vintage press photograph showing a portrait of Reverend William Ralph Inge of St Paul's London. Caption describes how the Reverend arrived in New York via the SS Mauretania to lecture at Yale. He is described as an advocate of birth control and eugenics and voices the opinion that smuggling liquor into a country where the state exceeds it rights by prohibiting some harmless acts such as the consumption of liquor is morally just. Underwood and Underwood press photo dated 1925. Great image!

Measures approximately 6 1/2" by 8 1/2" excluding caption sheet. 

Condition: This photo is in good condition overall but does have some brown toning to the image and other wear. Caption sheet has multiple bends / creases and some staining. Overall, still a very nice vintage photograph.
