Offering a vintage press photograph captioned as showing the Sultan of Brunei and the Duchess of Kent being carried in a royal sedan chair through Brunei North Borneo. Press stamps on the back from The Daily Telegraph with 1952 date and from the Associated Press in London. Image has been highlighted / embellished with paint for press / publication use. Great image! 

Sold as-found and I do not have any further information regarding the age or history of this photograph. Identifications, dates, locations and similar details are to the best of my ability but are not certain - view all photos carefully before purchase. 

Measures approximately 8" by 10"

Condition: This photo has paint on the front for press use to highlight the image in publication. Some additional surface staining, corner bends / wear and other wear. Some paper loss / adhesive residue on the back suggests a caption sheet may be missing (sold as-is). Multiple pencil / crayon notations on the back with press stamps and glued caption. Glued caption is partially torn off / missing. Overall, still a very nice vintage press photograph.
